ADMINISTRATIVE AND RESEARCH ASSISTANT DEPARTMENT OF THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY LEGAL AND SOCIAL ISSUES COMMITTEE
About the role Reporting to a Committee Manager, you will provide high-level administrative and research support to the Legal and Social Issues Committee.
In this varied role, you will provide administrative support to the Committee, organising meetings; preparing meeting materials and taking minutes; maintaining financial and budget records; organising travel and formatting documents and reports. While the focus of this role is administrative, you will also provide research support to the Committee, including preparing correspondence, briefings and reports.
About You You will be a team player with highly-developed communication, administrative, computer and organisational skills. Your ability to work with minimal supervision to complete tasks within tight time constraints will be the key to your success in this role.
You will have strong written and analytical skills and a proven capacity to undertake research and prepare correspondence, briefings and reports.
